Thursday 5/15/14
Oh what a few weeks this has been. I hit a plateau on the weight loss for a few days. When I went in to get my RM3 Shot, I asked about it, and they told me it is absolutely normal to stair step in the weight loss at this point. As a matter of fact, they told me that at the end of this month, I will be going on the maintenance program. As of this morning, I am down over 70 pounds from when I started in February. My home scale said I weighed in at 211 pounds.

I had some fun this past weekend, as I went through my closet, and put all my 48, & 44 size pants and XXL shirts in a bag for charity. I can't believe how big the clothes look to me now. It took a little while to get used to the fact that I can now fit into a large shirt, and that XXL shirts look like I am wearing a tent now.

The experience and the weight lass has been dramatic. I am actually stunned how much weight has dropped off of me. I haven't felt hungry once, and I have actually learned how to eat properly from the people at Tucson Medical Weight Loss. I was addicted to sugar, but I don't think I am anymore. The only thing I really miss right now is the taste of cheese. LOL

 

Friday 5/16/14
So I got up this morning to try on the Tux that I have been aiming to wear again. The jokes on me. I need to take it to a Tailor. I have dropped so much weight, it is now baggy on me. I didn't realize how easy this was gonna be.

 

Wednesday 6/25/14
Been a crazy month. Just finished a maintenance month with Tucson Medical Weight Loss. Officially with them, I have lost 76 pounds. On my home scale, it says I'm down 80 pounds. I am done with the RM3, and have slowly added healthy carbs back into my diet. I was doing around 900 calories a day for the last few months. Now I am up to 2400 calories a day. I feel so much better now. I'm hiking Tumomac Hill 2 days a week, and working out with weights the other 3 days at a home gym I built using dumbbells and a bench. On the weekend, I'm doing some light jogging and walking around a 3 to 6 mile path in my neighborhood. With 70 to 80 pounds less of me, the exercise is so much easier. My goal now is to just tone up, and stay healthy!
 
At the beginning of my journey with TMWL, I was wearing XXL shirts, and anywhere between a 44 to 48 pant size. I should have been in 48's, but was jamming myself into the 44's. I was always afraid they would split. I am now wearing just a large shirt, and size 38 pants. And with the workouts I'm doing, I should be in 36 pants soon. I am 6 foot 1, and for my body type, I'm right where I need to be weight-wise.

 

I'm doing their maintenance plan now. Not trying to lose the weight anymore, but I am getting the shots once a week, and taking some vitamin packets to keep my weight balanced. It's amazing how fast it has come off. And with their supervision and common sense, I will keep it off!
