Mike Rapp has been waking up Tucson since the 1980s, when he began a long stint on the KLPX morning show. Mike’s a team player who loves being part of a radio crew. Talking to listeners, supporting community events and fun radio promos are his favorite work things. The music is part of his business and private life. He’s still figuring out his Stratocaster.
Mike’s a terrible golfer who hosted ten-years of Friday afternoon golf outings with the KLPX Sundown Shoot-out series. He’s taken listeners on mini tours with bands like Van Halen and others, ski trips, and getaways to the Bahamas. Bottom line, he likes fun stuff with people who like KLPX.
Mike is a UArizona alum as are his wife and daughter who is a product of the Eller College of Management. He and his bride love to visit with their daughter in NYC where she works at Warner Brothers/Discovery.
